Natalie Young

Bio

Natalie Young worked in the SmARTextiles Lab during her junior and senior year from January 2022 to April 2023. She worked on the comparative evaluation of various textile-based interconnects (knots, splices, snaps, soldering, etc.). Her work also included fabrication elastomer-based conductive polymer composite using various species of carbonaceous conductive filler, to create light-weight, foam-based conductive materials. She graduated in May 2023 with a B.S. in Textile Technology from the WCOT and currently working as a Research Specialist at The Nonwovens Institute.
